About me
Born and raised in Southern Alberta, I take pride in continuing to support my community members and help improve your overall quality of life.
Above everything, I value my family. I am raising two young children with my husband, Chance.
I have been working in private practice for 7 years and prior to that I worked for two non-profit organizations: Hospice Calgary and Lethbridge Family Services. It is here that I realized my passion for grief and loss, end of life and trauma therapy. Over the years I have gained more training and interest in Emotion-focused couples therapy and OCD treatment.
Recently I decided to become trained in mental performance training for athletes and teams. Between 2005-2009 I completed my undergrad in psychology and also played NCAA golf in North Carolina. I understand the importance of an athletes mental game and want to help young athletes thrive and build confidence in and out of sports.
Rather than being "the trick of all trades", I have focused on specializing in these areas to ensure I am providing quality care.
In my spare time I am either golfing, attempting to ski and skateboard or walking my dogs - all while chasing two children!
